5.2 Handheld Transmitter TG 500H
Unscrew the battery compartment cover and pull it downwards.
Insert two AA batteries of the same type (NiMH HR 6 or Alkaline LR 6) and follow the symbols inside the battery
compartment .
Slide the battery compartment cover upwards and screw it tight.
Switch on the handheld transmitter using the On/Off button and wait until the selected name and battery sta-
tus are displayed on the transmitter. The On/Off button is illuminated green if the batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries are full. If the On/Off button is illuminated red, the batteries/rechargeable batteries are empty.
Additional information (group/channel, frequency, HF power) can be displayed by pressing the On/Off button
briefly repeatedly. The Mute button may also be used to display additional information as long as it is not pro-
grammed to mute.
To switch the transmitter off, hold the On/Off button pressed until the message "Off" is displayed.
