ACTpro-X Proximity readers
The ACTpro-X Proximity readers are now Multi-Format and include ACT RFID (ACTPro-X cards and fobs) together with selected HID clock & data
and Wiegand RFID formats (HID proximity cards and fobs). This allows greater flexibility for existing and new sites. All multi-format readers
will be clearly identified on the packaging and the product label. Please contact technical sales support for further assistance.
The ACTpro-X Proximity and PIN Pad readers work with the existing ACTpro1000/2000/3000 door access controllers. With rugged polycarbonate
housings and potted electronics the units are suitable for indoor and outdoor use (IP67). The installer can choose from a slimline mullion
reader with a 2m pigtail lead to surface and flush mount (standard single gang box), PIN & Proximity and PIN only with built in connectors.
The readers may be installed up to 100m from their controller. (installation distances exceeding 30m and up to 100m require a 12V dc supply)

Card Manager
ACT Controllers offer a high degree of flexibility for card management,with a choice of the following three methods available to the installer:
Batch Card Loading
All ACT Mag swipe and Proximity cards and Fobs may be purchased pre-programmed and simply loaded on to the controller by entering the number of the lead card
and end card in the sequence.Additional cards may be purchased and loaded in the same way.
Site Coded Cards
The existing Site Code system is still supported in the latest versions however the installer must allow for a lead time in delivery as these cards are specially encoded
at the ACT factory.
Learn Cards
In certain circumstances a site being upgraded to ACT products may continue with existing cards, which can be loaded by altering the controller format to suit. Installers
wishing to take advantage should provide at least 3 of the existing cards for test by ACT or our Technical Sales Support Department. Credit cards, petrol cards etc. may
also be learned into the system.
Site Code Note
Site Coded cards for new or existing sites are available at the same prices as below.When ordering for existing site coded systems please provide the following information:
1) The 8 digit site code reference 2) The card or fob type 3) The number sequence required
Please note that batch cards will not work on site coded systems
