DORMA (2 Year Warranty)
The DORMA range of door closers and door control devices compliment our access control range as all doors within an access control
situation will need to be self closing otherwise the security of the system is compromised. Manufactured in accordance to BS-EN1154 and
CERTIFIRE standards. BS-EN1154 states that a size 3 door closer is the minimum requirement for installation to a 30 minute rated fire door.
CERTIFIRE is a third party fire test for door closers relating to safety in fire and safety in use. This standard is becoming increasingly specified
as a requirement when fitting a closer to new doorsets.

EN Description
EN strength eqautes to the manufacturer width of the door.
The recommended sizes of doors are:-
EN4 = 1100mm
EN5 = 1250mm
EN6 = 1400mm
Note: for applications involving particularly high or heavy doors, and doors which
have to close against wind resistance, the next highest closer size should be applied.

PULL Fixing
Are closers that are fitted to the inside of the door.
If you were on the inside of the door and pulled it to open and
the closer is on your side, this would be a PULL fixing.
PUSH Fixing
Are closers that are fitted to the outside of the door.
If you were on the inside of the door and pushed it open
and the closer is on the opposite side, this would be a PUSH fixing.
