Bewator offers a range of card and tag technologies for use with Bewator
access control systems and products. This range includes traditional Magnetic
Stripe, Bewator's patented Cotag® Proximity and Hands-Free and Mifare®
Smart Cards. Cotag® Active and Passive Technology cards & tags may be
easily mixed within the same system allowing customers to allocate the most
appropriate tag technology for that cardholder's day to day duties.
Active Technology utilises an onboard battery to boost the reading range
between the tag & Reader. By using Active Technology cards & tags in
conjunction with long range Readers & Loops, true 'Hands-Free' operation is
achievable. In addition to user convenience, Hands-Free technology is well
suited for facilitating Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
