Mifare® Contactless Smart Card Proximity
Reader with integrated keypad. SM500
series readers can be read the unique 32bit
serial number in every Mifare® card or data
from a location in the Mifare® Application
Directory (MAD). This allows easy
integration of access control with other smart
card applications.

3 separate LEDs & onboard Sounder
(internal/external control). Hardwired
cryptographic algorithm, mutual
authentication plus encrypted transmission
using session key. PIN data transmitted
along normal data lines Electronics housed
