CONDENSER CLEANING
Keeping the condenser coil clean is critical to ecient
operation.
1. Unplug unit from power supply.
2. Move the unit to get access to the back.
3. Remove the ve Phillips head screws on the top and
bottom of the back panel.
4. Remove the back panel and set aside.
5. Remove the two screws holding the condensing unit
deck to the unit.
6. Pull the condensing unit part way out to get access to
the condenser surface.
7. Examine condenser surface, if dusty, brush and
vacuum the dust and lint from the surface of the
coil. Brush up and down to avoid damaging the ns.
Use care to not disturb the wires connected to the
controller.
Note: If the coil is greasy, the coil will need to be
cleaned with coil cleaner and that should be left to an
experienced technician.
8. Push the condensing unit back into the unit, and
secure it to the unit with the original screws.
9. Line up the back panel with the 5 screw holes and
secure it to the unit with the original screws.
10. Return the unit to is normal spot, reconnect to power
and return it to service.
Air lters are not recommended as they restrict the
ow of cooling air.
Rotating fan blade can cause
personal injury.
