F. Press the MIC button for the sixth time, the Digital
Display would appear as follows:
Press the UP/DOWN button to move the arrow
to select ON or OFF for microphone volume lock.
Once you have selected ON, the Mic Volume and all
mic settings will be locked until you set it off.
Feedback prevention for microphone:
A. Do not use the minimum 40mS for MIC DELAY
TIMES. We recommend to set MIC DELAY TIMES to at
least 220 mS.
B. We recommend you to set the MIC ECHO volume
level to 12dB, great for singing and karaoke.
C. We recommend you to set the MIC REPEAT level
from 5 to 16.
D. For wireless microphone, please set the volume of
the receiver to a 10 - 12 o'clock position in order to
reduce feedback.
Exciter Mic Mode:
Press the EXCITER button to enable as follows:
Press the Exciter button to turn mic excite on or
off.

6. Adjusting the microphone tone
A. There are three knobs under the MIC TONE: (1)
BASS (2) MID (3) TREBLE

B. BASS: Slowly turn the knob in clockwise direction to
increase the bass output for the microphone.
C. MID: Slowly turn the knob in clockwise direction to
increase the midrange output for the microphone.
D. Treble: Slowly turn the knob in clockwise direction
to increase the tremble output for microphone.
7. Adjusting the microphone volume
A. There are two knobs under MIC VOL: (1) MIC 1/3
(2) MIC 2/4
B. The MIC 1/3 knob controls the volume for
microphone 1 (in front panel) and microphone 3 (in
rear panel)
C. The MIC 2/4 knob controls the volume for
microphone 2 (in front panel) and microphone 4 (in
rear panel)
8. Microphone Input
A. There are two microphone inputs in the front panel:
MIC 1 for microphone 1 and MIC 2 for microphone 2.
B. The connector for microphone 1 and 2 in front
panel is 1/4 (unbalance).
C. The connector for microphone 3 and 4 in rear
panel is XLR (balance).

DX-5000 is a Central Processing Unit (CPU)-controlled machine with
five channels to maximize the sound quality and effects. It is compatible
with iPod source, so it is excellent for using as rental equipment. DX-5000
