BEFORE
FIRST USE

filling or adding water.
2. Fill the kettle with water to the desired level.
Do not overfill or there will be a risk of spill

age. The water level indicator will assist you
to measure the correct amount. You can fill
the kettle opening the lid. Do not forget to
close the lid after filling.
3. Do not fill with less than 0.5 litres of water
(3cups or up to “MIN” indication) to prevent
the kettle running dry while operating.
4. Do not fill with more than 1.7 litres of water
(up to “MAX” indication).
5. An automatic safety power cut-off has been
fitted for protection against overheating and
boiling dry. It will operate if the kettle is
switched on and there is insufficient water.
Always ensure the water inside the kettle
covers the minimum mark on the water level
indicator gauge. If the automatic safety power
cut-off is triggered, switch the kettle off,
disconnect from the power outlet and allow
the kettle to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes.
Then refill with water and switch on – the
kettle will then boil and cut off as in normal
operation.
6. Place the power base on a dry, flat surface.
Place the kettle on the power base. The elec

trical connection will be made automatically
as the kettle slides onto the power base.
7. Plug in the cord set into outlet. The electrical
connection will be made automatically as the
kettle slides onto the base.
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR USE
8. Plug the cord set into a 3-prong power outlet
and switch on by depressing the switch of the
kettle to the “ON” position.

will switch off automatically. After allowing
the kettle to cool down for 15 – 20 seconds,
you can boil the water again by pushing the
switch back to the “ON” position. During
the cooling down time do not force the on/

naturally formed and can be found mostly
adhered to the heating element, thus reduc

ing the heating capacity. The amount of lime
scale deposited (and subsequently the need to
clean or rescale) largely depends on the water
