SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - General
• Pleasereadtheseinstructionscarefullyandretainthemforfuturereference.
• Usethisappliancesolelyinaccordancewiththeseinstructions.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenolderthan8yearsandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensory
ormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledge,butonlyiftheyhavebeengivensupervision
orinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.
• Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.
• Cleaningand maintenancemustnot bedone by children,except iftheyare olderthan8 yearsand
supervised.
• Keeptheapplianceandthecableoutofreachofchildrenunder8years.
• Haveanyrepairscarriedoutsolelybyaqualifiedelectrician.Nevertrytorepairtheapplianceyourself.

• Verifythatthemainsvoltageisthesameasthatindicatedonthetypeplateontheadapterbeforeusing
theadapter.
• Alwaysremovethe adapter’splugfrom thesocket whenyouhavefinishedcharging thedevice and
whenyouarenolongerusingtheadapter.
• Alwaysremovetheadapter’splugfromthewallsocketbypullingontheadapter,notthelead.
• Checktheadapter’sleadregularlytomakesureitisnotdamaged.Donotusetheadapteriftheleador
theadapterisdamaged.Adamagedleadmustbereplacedbyaqualifiedelectrician.
• Neverleavetheappliancetochargeformorethansixteenhours.
• Donotusetheappliancewhilstitisconnectedtotheadapter.
• Donotchargetheapplianceinthevicinityofheatsourcessuchasradiators,orinthefullsun.
• Makesurethattheapplianceandtheadapterdonotcomeincontactwithwater.
• Dischargetheappliancecompletelyonceeverythreemonthsbyallowingtheappliancetorununtilthe
batteryisempty.Thenswitchofftheappliance,andfullyrechargeit.

• Alwaysusetheadaptersuppliedwiththeappliance.Donotusetheapplianceincombinationwithother
typesofadapters.
• Verifythattheattachmentisfixedsecurelybeforeswitchingontheappliance.
• Takecareduringuse.Alwaysholdtheappliancebythebase,notbytheattachment.Donotremovean
attachmentwhilsttheapplianceisswitchedon.
• Afteryouhavefinishedusingtheappliancecleanitwithacleandampcloth.
• Neverimmersetheapplianceortheadapterinwaterorotherliquids.
• Donotpickuptheapplianceifitfallsintowaterwhilstitischarging.Removetheadapterfromthewall
socketimmediately.Donotusetheapplianceortheadapteranymore.
