FUNCTION - Use

1. Ensurethattheapplianceisplacedinaperfectlyhorizontalposition.

2. Lifttheappliance’slidandfillthewatertankwiththerequiredquantityofcoldwater,usingthecupfrom

whichyouaregoingtodrinkcoffee.Makesurethatthewaterleveldoesnotexceedthemaximum-

levelmarkontheinsideofthewaterreservoir.

3. Putoneortwocupsunderthespouts.Ifyouwouldliketobrewonecupoffcoffee,placethecupinthe

middle.

4. Puttherequiredquantityofgroundcoffeeintothepermanentfilter.Distributethecoffeeevenly.

5. Putthepluginthewallsocketandswitchontheappliancebyusingthestartbutton.Thecontrollight

willnowilluminate.

6. Thecoffeemachineautomaticallystopswhenthebrewingisdone.Ifyouwishtohaltthebrewing

prematurely,youcanpushthestartbuttonagain.Thecontrollightwillextinguish.

7. Removetheplugfromthewallsocket.

• Theappliancewillnotkeepthecoffeeinthecupwarm.

 • Allowtheappliancetocooldownbeforeusingittobrewadditionalcoffee!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Switchofftheappliance,taketheplugoutofthesocket,andallowthecoffeemakertocool.

2. Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithadampclothandwashing-upliquid,andthendryitthoroughly.

Makesurenomoisturegetsintotheappliance.

3. Washthepermanentfilterinhotwateranddryitthoroughly.

• Neverimmersethecoffeemaker,theplugorthecableinwater.Neverputtheapplianceina

dishwasher.Onlythepermanentfiltermaybeimmersedinwater.

 • Neverusecorrosiveorscouringcleaningagentsorsharpobjects(suchasknivesorhardbrushes)

tocleantheappliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Descaling

Limescalecanreducetheefficiencyofyourcoffeemaker.Limescaleiscommoninareaswithhardwater.

Weadvisetheuseofasuitabledescalingagenttoremoveanyscale.Alwaysfollowtheinstructionsforthe

descalingagent.Theamountofscalewillbereducedwhenyouuseawatersoftener.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• Disposeofpackagingmaterial,suchasplasticandboxes,intheappropriatewastecontainers.

 • Whenthisproductreachestheendofitsusefullifedonotdisposeofitbyputtingitinadustbin;

handitinatacollectionpointforthereuseofelectricalandelectronicequipment.Pleasereferto

thesymbolsontheproduct,theuser’sinstructionsorthepackaging.

 • Thematerialscanbere-usedasindicated.Yourhelpinthere-use,recyclingorothermeansof

makinguseofoldelectricalequipmentwillmakeanimportantcontributiontotheprotectionofthe

environment.
