Before this code is displayed, you should have
received a “00” (Low Runtime) alarm to warn
you to shut down your equipment. When
acceptable AC input power returns, the UPS will
automatically restart (unless you have set
parameter 03 to disable the auto restart feature).
When the UPS restarts, it will temporarily run in
a bypass (nonregulating) mode (see A-16).
Codes A-08 and A-16 will display until the
battery voltage returns to above 48VDC for 2
minutes. Runtimes will remain low until the unit
fully recharges the batteries.
