3.3.11.2 CPU GPIO
The General-Purpose I/O (GPIO) provides 11 general-purpose input/output GPIO ports for
use in generating and capturing application-specific input and output. All ports are brought
out of the processor through alternate function multiplexing. More ports may be made
available when certain interfaces are not required by an application.
