Transferring Lock/Reader Congurations to the
Netbook/Notebook
To transfer lock/reader conguration made through the B.A.S.I.S. System Administration to your Netbook/
Notebook, perform the following steps:
Note The following presumes the user has successfully logged into Basis System Administration and
the communication server is running. It is also presumed the USB to serial cable is connected and
congured on the Netbook per the manufacturers instructions.
1 Connect a USB ash drive in the a USB port on your Netbook/Notebook and then open B.A.S.I.S.
Transport Tray.
2 In System Administration and working from the System Tree right click the reader to be programmed,
and select Download.
