5.2 Special Functions which Can Be
Activated via the Menu
To use the special functions, select the Menu
button and then use the Up/Down buttons
to access the menu and confirm the Functions
selection.
Refrigerator Shopping
This function lowers the refrigerator temperature
to +2°C (35.6°F) for 12 hours to cool down newly
inserted produce more quickly. The function will
shut o automatically after 12 hours and return to
the previously set temperature.
It is possible to schedule activation of this function
in advance.
The function will need to be reset if the power to the
appliance is cut for a prolonged period.
This can be scheduled between one and twelve
hours in advance.
The various Shopping modes help
Refrigerator and FlexMode cooling when a
significant amount of produce at ambient
temperature is added to the appliance.
This mode can also be eective in
maintaining the internal temperature when
the drawers and upper door are opened
frequently.
Refrigerator Vacation
This function – recommended for extended periods
of absence as it provides significant energy savings
– increases the temperature of the refrigerator
compartment to +14°C (57.2°F).
It is possible to set a duration for this function,
or else it can be deactivated manually upon your
return. The function will remain active even
following an extended power cut.
It is possible to set a period ranging from 1 to 90
days.
FlexMode Shopping
This function must be enabled at least 24 hours
before adding products at ambient temperature
to the FlexMode compartment, or a few hours
before adding already frozen foodstus which have
undergone a moderate temperature increase.
The function will be disabled automatically when
the scheduled period of operation expires. It is
possible to schedule activation of this function in
advance.
The function will need to be reset if the power to
