ElectricOven
The selfcleaning mode of your new range
featuresa pyrolyticselfcleaning cycle. When set
to the CLEAN mode, the oven reaches a high
temperature of approximately 840°F/450°C that
burnsoffallfoodresidues from the insideofthe
oven.
When the oven is set for CLEAN, the cooktop
burnersmaybeused.
Itis commonto seesmokeand/orflames during
the clean cycle, depending on the content and
amount of greasy residues in the oven. If the
flame persists, turn off the oven and allow it to
cool before opening the door and wipe off the
excessiveresidues.
Atthe endofthe CLEANcycle,some greyash or
burnedresiduemayremain inside theoven.This
is a mineral deposit that does not burn or melt.
The amount of ash depends on how heavily
soiled the oven was before it was cleaned. It is
easily removed, when the
oven is cold, using a
damppapertowel,sponge,orcloth.
Wipe off any smoke residuethatremains on the
front frame with a cleaning product suitable for
oven cavitycleaning. If stains remain, use amild
liquid cleaner. The amount of smoke stain is
