Beg yoke shaping: 1st rnd: *K9. K2tog.

Knit 3 rnds even.
5th rnd: *K8. K2tog. Rep from * around.
72 sts.
Knit 3 rnds even.
9th rnd: *K7. K2tog. Rep from * around.
64 sts.
Knit 3 rnds even.
13th rnd: *K6. K2tog. Rep from * around.
56 sts.
Knit 3 rnds even.
17th rnd: *K5. K2tog. Rep from * around.

Pick up and knit 7 sts down left front

2nd and alt rows: Purl.
3rd row: K15. (Inc1) twice. Knit to end
of row. 34 sts.
5th row: K16. (Inc1) twice. Knit to end
of row. 36 sts.
7th row: K17. (Inc1) twice. Knit to end
of row. 38 sts.
Cont even in stocking st until Hood from
pick up row measures 7" (18 cm), ending
with a purl row.
Cast o. Sew top Hood seam.
Ears (make 2)
Cast on 8 sts.
Knit 4 rows (garter st).
Next row: ssk. K4. K2tog. 6 sts.
Next row: ssk. K2. K2tog. 4 sts.

Sew Ears to either side of Hood as shown
