Size U.S. M/13 (9 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

Approx 51" x 63" [129.5 x 160 cm].
GAUGE

INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Blanket is worked in 5
Panels using 4 shades of striping
yarn (MC). Vertical surface slip st
rows are worked after Panels are
complete.
PANEL 1
With MC, beg with complete
stripe of shade shown on diagram
on page 2 (Color 1), ch 20.
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from
hook. (Ch 1. Skip next ch. 1 sc in
next ch) 4 times. Ch 1. Skip next ch
and place marker on skipped ch.
(1 sc in next ch. Ch 1. Skip next ch)
4 times. 1 sc in last ch. Turn. 19 sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in rst sc. *1 sc
in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Skip next sc.
Rep from * to last 2 sts. 1 sc in next
ch-1 sp. 1 sc in last sc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in rst sc.
*Ch 1. Skip next sc. 1 sc in next
ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 sts.

Rep 2nd and 3rd rows for pat.
Work a further 7 rows in pat
(10 rows in total). Break Color 1.
Join Color 2 at beg of complete
stripe.
With Color 2, work 10 rows in pat.
