· Lift the instrument from your ear rst.
· Push the back of your ear with your thumb
to loosen the helix part of the earmold, then
use your index nger to remove it.
· Grasp the helix part of the earmold and twist
it forwards.
· Gently pull the earmold straight out of the
ear, holding on to the helix part of the mold.
Removing Earmold and Hearing
Instruments
Do not remove the earmold by pulling on the
hearing instrument. This could disconnect
the instrument from the earmold or damage
the tubing.
