USB tethering
Your computer can share your phone’s mobile data connection via USB.
1. Connect your phone to your computer with the supplied USB cable.
2. Select USB tethering.
Portable WLAN hotspot
You can turn your phone into a portable WLAN hotspot, so that other devices
can share your phone’s mobile data connection over a WLAN network.
Set up WLAN hotspot
You can change your phone’s SSID (hotspot name), security type, and
password. Other devices need to enter the same password to connect to your
phone’s WLAN hotspot.
Depending on the type of mobile data connection sharing, one of these icons
appears in the status bar:
