Picture menu
Picture menu (Advanced)
Function Description
Picture Mode
Pre-defined picture modes are provided so you can optimize your projector
picture set-up to suit your program type. See "Selecting a preset mode" on
page 32 for details.
Reference Mode
Selects a preset mode that most suits your need for the picture quality and
further fine-tune the picture based on the selections listed below. See "Setting
the User 1/User 2 mode" on page 33 for details.
Brightness
Adjusts the brightness of the picture. See "Adjusting Brightness" on page 34 for
details.
Contrast
Adjusts the degree of difference between dark and light in the picture. See
"Adjusting Contrast" on page 34 for details.
Color
Adjusts the color saturation level -- the amount of each color in a video
picture. See "Adjusting Color" on page 34 for details.
Tint
Adjusts the red and green color tones of the picture. See "Adjusting Tint" on
page 34 for details.
Sharpness
Adjusts the picture to make it look sharper or softer. See "Adjusting Sharpness"
on page 34 for details.
Reset Picture Settings
Returns all settings in the Picture menu to the factory preset values. See
"Resetting the picture mode" on page 33 for details.
Rename User Mode
Renames User 1 or User 2. See "Renaming user modes" on page 33 for
details.
Function Description
Black Level
Sets the picture grayscale as 0 IRE or 7.5 IRE. See "Setting Black Level" on
page 35 for details.
Noise Reduction
Adjusts the picture quality. See "Setting Noise Reduction" on page 35 for
details.
Color Temperature
