Signamax connectors and multimedia module inserts can be used in the Signamax
Surface Mount Multimedia box, enabling the consolidation of up to 12 keystone modular
connectors for surface mounting. These boxes are designed to also accommodate
industry-standard surface raceways for a clean transition to the box. Individual connector
ports can be color-coded using icons, and additional labeling areas are provided to the
application.

Why we chose this…
We selected these 4-port keystone boxes because they mount on the wall and are
designed to accommodate raceway. With the use of the 4-port boxes, we can run 4 Cat5e
cables down to the computer stations from the main raceway. We will be able to plug in
4 computers to each box. Buying the 4-port boxes was the same price as purchasing 2-
port boxes, so we will be saving space by installing these boxes. We think that it would
be a good idea for the client to purchase and pay for the installation of one or two extra
boxs in each lab in the event the college wishes to expand the number of computers in
each lab.
