6.1.10 Metering
1. Power [On] the Digital Video Camera and make sure it is in the [DV]
mode.
2. Press [MENU] Button and press [4-way Direction] Button to select
the [Metering] item. Press OK Button or touch the screen to display
submenu.
3. Press [4-way Direction] Button to select [Center], [Average], or
[Spot]. Press OK Button or touch the screen to confirm.
Center
To preserve background details while letting lighting
conditions at the center of the frame define exposure.
Averaged
For exposure to be evenly distributed around the selected
frame.
Spot
To ensure correct exposure for the object even if the
background is very bright or very dark.
6.1.11 EV Compensation
Use this function to adjust the value of EV compensation, which is ranged
from -2.0EV to +2.0EV (at 0.3EV increment). The higher the EV value, the
brighter the image will be.
