To enable self-timer mode:
1. Set the mode dial to the desired shooting mode. See "Selecting the Shooting
Mode" on page 28 for details.
2. Press repeatedly until your desired self-timer mode is displayed on the
LCD monitor.
Focus mode
This feature allows you to define the focus type when capturing an image or a
recording a video clip.
To select the focus mode:
1. Set the mode dial to the desired shooting mode. See "Selecting the Shooting
Mode" on page 28 for details.
2. Press repeatedly to toggle between Normal and Macro (). In addition,
you can use Super Macro ( ) if the subject is at a very close distance. To
enable , press . Then, steadily slide the zoom lever until the zoom
indicator is roughly in the middle of the zoom bar.
If you want to take a close-up shot, set the focus mode to Macro or Super Macro.
