58 Introducing main applications
All the data and images files displayed are stored on the BenQ server. Members of the same
family board can access the same information from different devices through Internet once the
compatible version of application is installed.
Viewing and managing images/video clips
Tap Photo album in Family Board to view all the images shared by the family. A list of
thumbnails of all the images/clips shared by the family is displayed.
• Tap to view a list of videos; tap to view all images/clips.
• Tap or to view more thumbnails.
• Tap to play a slideshow of the images. Customize your slideshow by following the
on-screen instructions to add special effects and background music. Tap
OK and Start to start
the playback.

Photo album to sort the files.
- Photo album: files are arranged by album (folder) names alphabetically.
- Calendar: files are arranged by the dates the files were uploaded.
- Location: files are arranged by the places (if specified) the photos were taken.
- People: files are arranged by the members that uploaded the files.
Viewing images/clips
• Tap a thumbnail to view the image/clip. It may take a while before the file is downloaded from
the server.
• While an image is displayed, tap the screen for more options and more thumbnails. Slide to
the right or left on the lower part of the screen to view more images.
• During video playback, tap the screen, and then you can decide to pause the playback or
switch to other clips available in the family board.

Home page, where you can check today’s schedule, the upcoming events,
and the updates of the board.
6 Accesses all the images or video clips shared by the family.
7 Accesses the personal calendar, the family calendar, and the to-do items.
8 Accesses the messages to or from the members.
9 • Accesses the profile of the current board and the owner.
• Sends invitation of the family board to other people.
10 Searches for keyword.
11 Reloads the board and checks for updates.
12 Exits Family Board.
13 Displays today’s schedule and the upcoming events, including the to-do items.
