56 Introducing main applications
Family Board
> Family Board
Once you have purchased the smart display, you are provided with the application and the free
storage space up to 5 GB on the BenQ cloud server for Family Board. All the information
shared in
Family Board is stored on the BenQ cloud server. Log in Family Board to activate
the provided cloud services.
Creating a new family board
Use your BenQ account to create a new family board. A smart display is allowed to create one
family board and have 20 accounts added to the board.
1. Go to > Family Board.
2. Log in with your BenQ account (see Creating your BenQ account for BenQ services on
page 43 for more information). And confirm with OK.
Once your have entered your e-mail address and allowed the password to be saved, the
account is automatically saved as well. To log in again, simply tap the text field of Account
login
and select your account from the list.
3. Input your nickname, birthday, and password. And tap Next.
The requested information may be different if you haven’t created your BenQ account until
now. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your Family Board account.
4. Name the new family board. And tap Next.
5. Tap to add new members to the family board just created. Input the e-mail addresses of
the new members, and tap OK to send invitations. You can have up to 20 members for a
board.
Alternatively, send invitations from Settings > My family in Family Board. See Inviting the
family to join the family board on page 56 for more information.
6. Tap OK to enter the Home page of Family Board. You are now the owner of the new
family board.
Inviting the family to join the family board
As the owner of the family board you just created, you can invite members of the family to join
the board when creating the board, or send invitations later from Family Board > Settings.
1. Go to Settings > My family in Family Board.
2. Tap and Add new family member by e-mail.
3. Input the member’s e-mail address. If you want to add more than one member at a time,
tap to input more e-mail addresses.
4. Tap
OK to send invitations.
You must establish the Internet connection before use.
The next time you log in Family Board, select Remember my account password if you want the account and
password to be saved and entered automatically in the login process afterwards.
