16 Getting started
Removing the back cover
Place your finger in the recess at the top edge of the back cover, and take the cover back off the
smart display as illustrated.
Keep the back cover somewhere safe for future use.
Connecting other USB devices
Your smart display supports connecting with other devices that are USB-compatible, e.g. USB
flash drive (in either FAT or FAT32 format), keyboard, or mouse.
If a flash drive or storage drive is connected, you can browse the files on the connected device
from > Files.
Connecting the USB cable (for PC connection)
Your smart display can connect to a computer and serves as a mass storage device. Once the
connection is established, your smart display is shown as a removable device on the computer.
You can then browse the files on your smart display from the computer. You can move the files
from your smart display to the computer or vice versa.
1. Connect the micro USB connector of an appropriate USB cable (purchased separately) to
the micro-USB port of your smart display.
