14 Getting started
2. Connect the HDMI connector of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of your computer.
3. Turn on the smart display. See Switching the smart display on on page 17 for details. Wait
until the smart display enters the main Home screen.
4. Tap on the bottom-left of the screen, and tap HDMI.The smart display is now
switched to Display mode and outputs video and audio signals from your computer.
Inserting the microSD card (to extend memory capacity)
The microSD card significantly extends your smart display’s memory capacity. This allows you
to save picture/video files, sound recordings, etc. You can also use the microSD card to save any
other files.
