13 Getting started
Connecting to a network
You can choose to connect to a network via the built-in wireless connectivity of your smart
display or a Ethernet cable.
For more information and other network connectivity, see Setting up Internet connection on
page 26.
Connecting to a wireless network
1. Prepare the router and the network settings provided by your network service provider.
2. Make sure that Wi-Fi switch is slid to ON in > Settings > Wi-Fi.
3. Configure your Wi-Fi setting properly. See Activating Wi-Fi on page 26 for more
information.
Connecting to Ethernet network
1. Connect a network cable (with RJ-45 connector, purchased separately) to the LAN port of
your smart display.
2. Connect the other end of the network cable to your Ethernet switch. Contact your
network service provider for the configuration.
Connecting the HDMI cable (optional)
If you tend to use your smart display as a monitor and receives the signals from your computer,
an HDMI cable (purchased separately) is required for connection between the smart display
and the computer.
1. Connect the micro-HDMI connector of your HDMI cable to the micro-HDMI port of your
smart display.
