Modem/PC Sync
To synchronize the phone with your computer to transfer Phone Book
data or Calendar memos, select this option. Besides, the phone can work
as a modem to let you connect your computer to the Internet.
Before activating the data synchronization or the modem function,
make sure you have installed onto your computer the software tool
designed for use with the phone.
MTP
MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol, which standardizes the way
computers with Windows installed transfer data to portable media
devices.
To transfer files protected by Windows Microsoft Digital Rights
Management (MS-DRM), you need to select MTP to activate Windows
Media Player 10, which is used for transferring MS-DRM protected files
from a computer to the phone.
System requirements: (1) Windows XP, (2) Microsoft Service pack 2
and above, (3) Windows Media Player 10 (version 10.00.00.3990 is
recommended).
1. After you select MTP, an MTP Media Player window pop ups on
the computer. Select Synchronize Media Files To This Device to
open up Windows Media Player.
2. The synchronization screen will display for you to copy files.
On the right side of the synchronization screen, you can choose
to copy files to Flash (phone memory) or to SD Card (microSD
card).
