Finding contacts in the Phone Book
1. In idle mode, press the corresponding key for Names to display
contacts stored in the Phone Book.
2. Press the alphanumeric key that corresponds to the first letter of the
name you wish to locate the appropriate number of times.
3. If necessary, scroll to the entry you want.
The default options designated for left and right soft keys may vary by
region and may not be Names. To designate the function to be
accessed by the soft keys, go to Settings > Key Assignment. See
page 75.
You can also go to Phone Book > Find, and then enter the full name
or the first letter of the name to locate a contact.
will appear on the top of the screen if the contact is stored on
your SIM card; will appear if the contact is stored in your phone
memory.
When you have found the entry you want, you can
• Press to view the contact's details.
• Press to dial the number. If the entry has more than one phone
number, then you will be prompted to select a number.
Image ID
Used to set the image that will appear on the
display when there is an incoming call from
the contact.
The image set in this field will replace
the image associated with the
contact's caller group, if any.
