CB Messages b
§Menu§ ¢M¢Inbox¢CB Messages
Some service providers offer infor-
mation services (info channels, Cell
Broadcast). If reception is activated,
you will receive messages on the ac-
tivated topics in your Topic List.
CB messages are displayed in stand-
by mode; longer messages are
scrolled automatically.
Receive CB
You can activate and deactivate the
CB service. If the CB service is activat-
ed, standby time for the phone will
be reduced.
Topic List
You can add any topics to this per-
sonal list from the topic index. You
can preset 10 entries with their
channel numbers (ID) and, if applica-
ble, with their names.
New Topic Select.
• If no topic index is available, enter
a topic with its channel number
and confirm with §OK§.
• If the topic index has already been
transmitted, select a topic and ac-
tivate it with §Options§.
Topic Select
§Options§ Open list menu.
If a topic is selected in the list you
can view it, activate/ deactivate it,
edit it or delete it.
CB Languages
Receive Cell Broadcast messages in
one specific language only or in all
languages.
Text Zoom
You can set three fixed sizes for the
presentation of the display texts
across the entire message range:
Standard Medium font size
Zoom + Large font
Zoom - Small font
Displays
