No network
connection.
Weak signal. Move higher, to a window or an open space.
Outside GSM range. Check service provider’s coverage area.
Invalid SIM card. Complain to the service provider.
New network not authorised. Try manual selection or select a different network
(p. 116).
Network overloaded. Try again later.
Phone loses
network.
Signal too weak. Reconnection to another service provider is auto-
matic (p. 116). Switching phone off and on again
can speed this up.
Calls not possible. New SIM card inserted. Check for new barrings.
Credit used up. Load credit.
Impossible to make
entries in Smart-
Chip/Addressbook.
SmartChip/Addressbook is full. Delete entries in the Addressbook/SmartChip (see
standard functions, p. 22).
Voice message not
functioning.
Call divert to mailbox not set. Set call divert to mailbox (p. 73).

SMS memory is full. Delete SMS messages (see standard functions,
