IMAP4 account
The inbox lists e-mails as well as sub-
scribed folders (e.g. mailboxes). You
can subscribe to various folders on
the IMAP4 server (page 72).
E-mails are retrieved only from the
subscribed folders.
If you delete e-mails on the phone,
they are deleted on the server
automatically and vice versa.

Depending on the current situation,
different functions will be offered.

Retrieve e-mail
Depending on the download mode
(page 82), either entire e-mails or
only the headers are retrieved, or
you may be asked whether the entire
e-mail or only the header should
be downloaded. The number of
retrieved e-mails is displayed.
View
If only headers are re-
trieved, retrieve body
and display e-mail.
Retrieve e-mail
Retrieve new e-mail for
selected account
(page 72).
Retrieve all
accts
Retrieve new e-mail
headers for all config-
ured accounts.

Open account

E-mail within the folder is
deleted on the phone
only. The synchronisa-
tion of e-mails to server
is stopped.

e-mails (page 80).
IMAP4 accounts: only e-mails in the
subscribed folders are retrieved.
