The Car kit profile is activated auto-
matically as soon as the phone is
connected to the car kit.
Edit profile

Auto answer
Voice and video calls are accepted
automatically after a few seconds.
On/Off Activate/deactivate and
confirm with
C.
Headset
Only in combination with an original
handsfree headset (page 168). If an
original headset is used, the Headset
profile is automatically activated
when the headset is plugged in.

The phone is charged via USB when
connected to a computer via USB
cable.

• Closing the clamshell: In conjunction
with a Car kit or headset closing the
clamshell will not cancel dialing or in-
coming calls.
• Auto answer does not apply if you are
already in a call.
• If you do not notice that your phone has
accepted a call, there is the danger that
the caller may eavesdrop.
• Screensaver and power save settings
are disabled automatically when the
phone is connected to a car kit.
