Camera
A camera is integrated in the phone.
Take photos/record videos and
use photos as wallpaper, a logo,
screensaver or startup and shutdown
animation
assign a photo/video to a contact
send photos/videos via MMS
or e-mail
save photos in My stuff (page 105).
Switching on

Switch between the Camera
and Video tabs.
The current (preview) image is dis-
played. You will see the following in the
first line from left to right:

Ù Night mode
Û White balance
The number of photos that can still be
taken in the selected resolution is dis-
played in the preview image. This
number varies considerably depending
on the subject matter and how much
storage space is required. You will also
see an indication of the selected resolu-
tion or, if video mode has been selected,
there is an indication as to how much
recording time has already been used
and the maximum time still available.
Take a photo
ù
Take a photo. A sound
is heard as the photo
is taken (this cannot
be deactivated).
The photo is saved under a user defined
name (Rename in camera options) or a
consecutive number in the Pictures
(page 107) folder in My stuff.
Image resolution
It is possible to set the quality of
the image regardless of the preview
image resolution.
To take individual wallpaper images
you need to set Background as the image
resolution in the options.
