5 Operation
You can perform tests with an installation tester [}page17] or an oscilloscope [}page18].
5.1 Testing with an installation tester
Requirements
• BENNING installation tester
With the device alone (without installation tester) you can only check the functions of the PP
signal and CP signal of the charging station (EVSE).
• Charging station (EVSE) compatible with the device
NOTE
Test socket
You can only test the phase L1 of 3-phase charging stations (EVSE) via the test socket of the
device.
