Selecting a Power Post Location
You need to pick a Power Post location now, near the beginning of the installation process, as its
location impacts other aspects of the installation.
Note: The Power Post location decision has no impact on the Approach direction or where the
Front and Rear of the Lift are. It does impact other aspects of the installation, however.
You have two options for Power Post location: Driver-Side Front or Passenger-Side Rear.
Drawing not necessarily to scale. Not all components shown. Powerside Runway (which has the
Hydraulic Cylinder under it)
must
be installed next to the Power Post, no matter which Power Post
location you choose.
Most customers choose their Power Post location based on either preference (one option makes more
sense for their shop than the other does) or easier access to the power source.
