1.6 LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

TRANSPONDER
T he transmitter as install ed in the aircraft, requires an Aircraft Radio Station Lic e nse.
This license is ob tained by filing FCC Form 404. The KT 76 or KT 78 may be operated
for up to 30 days without a station license, after filing the FCC Form 404 and while
awaiting the receipt 0f the station license, providing a copy of the I •' CC Form 404 is kept
in the aircraft.
This equipment has been type accepted by the FCC and entered on th eir list of type
accepted equipment as King KT 76 or King KT 78 and must be id e ntified as such on your
FCC F orm 404, Aircraft Radio Station License Application.
