M-21 Modulator
M-22 Modulator

Interchange Note
An M-21 can be replaced with an M-30 how-
ever note that the air lines (supply & delivery)
do not enter the valves in the same position
relative to the electrical connector. If two
modulators are used on an axle or tandem,
both should be changed to the same model.
The exhaust port of the M-21 and M-30 must
point toward the road surface.

Superceded By
M-30 Modulator
Interchange Note
Both modulators on a single axle must be of
the same type or model. When replacing a M-
22 with an M-30 modulator, both M-22 modu-
lators on the axle must be replaced at the
same time so that the same modulator model
is installed on each end of the axle. The M-22
and M-30 may be mixed on the same vehicle
but not on the same axle.
