ABS ECU and Modulator
Assembly
A.
Removal. Inspect the vehicle for damage, chafi ng, etc.
to current ABS unit, hoses or wiring and adjust routing
of replacement installation as necessary.
Disconnect original harness from the wheel speed
sensors, trailer power cord and warning lamp. Remove
the current ABS unit and harness.
C.
Electrical Installation. Reconnect the wheel speed
sensor leads, the indicator light, and ECU to the trailer
power harness.
Attach identifi cation label near the ABS indicator lamp
(remove original label). Run system checks.

Pneumatic Installation. Install the replacement ABS
ECU and modulator assembly. Reconnect the supply
air hose for the service brake, if not tank-mounted.
Reconnect the control air hose to the conrol port of
the modulator.
Reconnect the delivery air hoses to the modulator
and plug any unused ports.
