• At the 18-pin ECU harness connector:
- If MOD2 or MOD3, verify:
3 – 8 ohms resistance across hold solenoid to
common
6 – 16 ohms resistance across hold solenoid to
release solenoid
- If AUX3 or AUX1, verify:
Continuity of the AUX wiring to auxiliary device
No continuity from AUX wiring to any other ECU
18-Pin Connector pins
• At the device harness connector, verify:
- If MOD2 or MOD3, verify:
No continuity from modulator leads to ground
+12V is not measured at the modulator leads with
power applied to TABS6
- If AUX3 or AUX1, verify:
No continuity from AUX leads to ground.
+12V is not measured at the AUX leads.
• At the device connector, verify:
- If MOD2 or MOD3, verify:
3 – 8 ohms resistance across hold solenoid to
common (Pins 2 to 3)
6 – 16 ohms resistance across hold solenoid to
release solenoid (Pins 1 to 3)
- If AUX3 or AUX1, verify:
Expected resistance for auxiliary device
• Replace/repair MOD2/3 (AUX3/1) wiring or components
as required.
• After repairs or if no issues found, then clear faults.
• If faults return, replace the TABS6 Module.
