5.2.4.4 ABS Long-term monitoring.
The TABS6 detects if there is any excessive ABS activation times and/or
regular short ABS activation’s over an extended period. All control
functions are turned off as long as this fault is active. With this fault, the
TABS6 illuminates the trailer-mounted warning lamp and broadcast the
diagnostic message over the diagnostic data bus if possible.
5.2.5 Auxiliary Output Diagnostics
The TABS6 detects electrical errors in the auxiliary outputs or associated wiring.
The following faults are detected:
• open circuit
• short circuit coil
• short circuit to ground
• short circuit to battery
• short circuit between solenoid’s.
The TABS6 shall illuminate the warning lamp and broadcast the diagnostic
message over the diagnostic data bus if possible.
