4.4.3 Mechanical Shock
The TABS6 is designed of operate normally after each principal plane is
subjected to three (3) half-sine shocks:
Parameter Value Unit
Acceleration 70 g
Duration 6 msec
4.4.4 Drop Test
The TABS6 is designed to function normally with no obvious damage when
dropped three (3) times on each principal axis at a height of 40 inches (1 m) on a
level concrete floor.
If there is obvious damage that would result in part rejection (cracked enclosure,
damage to the connector or terminals), the TABS6 is not required to function.
4.5 Climate
4.5.1 Combined Environment “AGREE”
The TABS6 is designed to function normally after being subjected to a combined
environment test consisting of temperature cycling, humidity, and 3.47 GRMS
vibration (applied during all temperature transitions). The total test time is equal
to one product life. ABS and ignition cycles are performed throughout the test.

4.5.2 Chemical Exposure
The TABS6 is designed to be capable of withstanding splash exposure to the
following chemicals. After the chemicals have been applied and left on for
twenty-four (24) hours, the TABS6 will be dried. The TABS6 shall operate
normally after all exposures.
Acetone Ammonia
Antifreeze ASTM #1 Oil
ASTM #3 Oil ASTM Type A Fuel
