4.1.9 Electrostatic Discharge
The TABS6 is designed to operate after being subjected to ESD testing similar to
SAE J1113-13 Section 5 (Non-Powered Mode Test). The ECU shall operate
normally after all pulses are applied.

4.1.10 Electromagnetic Compatibility
The TABS6 system (which includes ECU, MRV’s, wheel speed sensors, and
wiring) is subjected to EMI field testing from 10 kHz to 18 GHz.

4.2 Temperature
All test methods are according to SAE J1455 unless otherwise noted.
4.2.1 Operating Range
The TABS6 is operational in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°F to
+185°F (-40°C to +85°C).
4.2.2 Storage Range
The TABS6 is capable of withstanding an ambient temperature range from -40°F
to 230°F (-40°C to +110°C) without operation.
4.2.3 Thermal Cycle
The TABS6 is capable of withstanding a minimum of twenty thermal cycles from -
40°F to +185°F (-40°C to 85°C) with no degradation in performance.
4.2.4 Humidity
The TABS6 is capable of operating in conditions of 95 % relative humidity at
+105°F (+40°C).
