key. Tap the hard key to create a new course from the aircraft’s
present position directly to the selected point. The new course line is
colored magenta. If you tap on a position on the map that is not a
NAVAID, a new user waypoint will be created.

Create a Direct-To course from the keyboard entry (No
Flight Plan)
Tap the hard key from any page to display the virtual keyboard
on the screen as shown in the figure below.
