Specifications

In day-to-day use it may be useful to adapt your detector

to changing circumstances. Your detector is therefore

equipped with:

• Selection possibility for optimum use of your detec-

tor in 12 European countries (when you select a

country, the appropriate frequencies are automatical-

ly activated).

• Volume adjustment (1 - 9).

• Variable display illumination (minimum, dim, maxi-

mum and dim-set = adjustment of the dimmed set-

ting to your personal preference)

• Signal suppression in order to prevent unnecessary

alerts in situations where there are a lot of strong

radar signals.

Setting country

Action:

make sure that the detector is switched on

and hold the CTY button pressed in.

Result:

you will see a list of the countries that can

be set.

Action:

release the CTY button as soon as the country

of your choice appears in the display and

then switch the detector off by pressing the

PWR button and then on again immediately

by pressing the PWR button again.

Result:

the detector now starts with a self-test of

laser and radar detection and indicates the

selected language and the radar frequencies

applicable to the chosen country. The system

is now ready for use in motorway, city or city

All mode.
