Low Batte ry I ndicator
When t he bat t ery charge level get s low , you can
see an em pt y battery icon at t he t op right of the
display and a t ex t not ification.

I f t he bat t ery level gets t oo low , t he phone will
turn off aut om atically. Unfort unately, if t his
happens, y ou’ ll lose what ever you are doing,
including dropping y our call. Wat ch t he bat tery
st rength icon and m ake sure your bat t ery is
adequately charged.
Sw it ching t he Phone
On/ Off
1. Press and hold dow n t he < End: Power> key for
m ore than one second to swit ch t he phone on.
2. I f t he phone asks for a passw ord, enter t he
password. For det ails on t he phone passwor d,
see Password
3. I f PI N code request of your SI M card is
enabled, your phone ask s you t o enter t he PI N
code. Enter t he PI N code, t hen your phone
connect s t o t he GSM net work.
The 3 lights on the cover of t he phone flashes,
and an aler t sounds. When t he sy st em locat es
services, you can see t he follow ing idle screens
on t he m ain and front LCD r espect ively.
I f t he phone is out of serv ice, t he < Call> icon
and ‘ No Service’ appear in t he display. I n t his
case, you cannot place and receive calls. You
can t r y again lat er when service is available.
4. When you wish to sw it ch t he phone off, hold
down t he< End: Power> key for m ore t han two
seconds

Do not sw it ch on t he phone when t he m obile phone use
is prohibited or w hen it m ay cause int erference or
danger .
Your Phone’ s M ode
St a ndby Mode
St andby is t he m ost basic st ate of your phone.
The phone goes int o St andby m ode soon aft er
you t ur n it on, or whenever y ou briefly pr ess
the< End: Power> key. When your phone is in
St andby m ode, you will typically see t he current
date and tim e.
I f you ent er a phone num ber, you can press
the< Send> key t o dial it , or press the Save soft
key to save it in t he int er nal Phonebook.
Press t he < End: Pow er> key at any t im e t o
ret urn to St andby m ode. Be careful; if you are on
a call when you press t he < End: Pow er> key,
you w ill return t o St andby m ode, but it also
disconnect s t he call.
Press t he C or Ba ck soft key several t im es or
hold it down t o ret urn t o Standby m ode wit hout
ending the call.
Ta lk M ode
You can place and answer calls only when your
phone is t urned on. During a call, t he phone is in
Talk m ode. While you are in Talk m ode, pressing
< Soft Left key> gives you a list of opt ions
referred t o as “ I n- Call Opt ions.”
