I nst alling a SI M Ca rd
When you subscribe t o a m obile networ k, y ou
are provided w it h a plug- in SI M card loaded with
your subscript ion details ( PI N, optional serv ices
available and so on) .
1. I f necessary, swit ch t he phone off t o press
and hold dow n t he < End: Pow er> key.
2. Rem ove t he bat t ery. To do so:
① After pushing t he lock but t on, pull t he bat t ery
cover t ow ard outside.
② Lift t he bat t ery away, as shown.
3. I nsert t he SI M card ensuring that t he cut
corner is at the t op right and the gold cont acts
of t he card face int o the phone.
4. Reinst all t he bat t ery. To do so:
① Place t he bat t ery so that t he t abs on it align
to t he connectors at t he inside of t he phone.
② Close t he battery cover unt il it clicks into
place. Make sure t hat t he bat t ery is properly
installed before switching on t he phone.
Charging a Ba t t ery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li- ion
battery.
A t ravel adapter and a deskt op charger are
pr ovided wit h your phone. Use only approved
batteries and chargers. Ask your local dealer for
furt her details.

N ot e : You m ust fully char ge the bat t er y before using
your phone for t he first t im e. The phone can be
used while t he batt ery is char ging.

Cha rging t he Ba t t ery Alone
To charge t he bat t er y alone, use t he deskt op
char ger unit.
1. Open t he cover of t he deskt op charger .
2. I nsert t he bat tery alone int o t he slot m aking
sure that t he term inals on t he bat t er y cont act
to t he t erm inals on t he slot.
3. Push down t he bat t ery until you hear a click.
4. I nsert t he lead of t he t ravel adapter into t he
connect or socket of t he deskt op charger .
5. Connect t he adapt er t o a st andard AC wall
out let .
6. The color indication of the LED on the char ger
is as follows:
• Red : charging
• Blue : fully charged
7. When charging is finished ( t he LED t ur ns in
gr een) , unplug t he power cord of t he adapt er
from the AC out let and rem ove t he bat t ery
from the char ger.
Cha r gin g t he Battery w it h t he
Phone
You can use the phone while charging by
char ging t he bat t ery at t ached to t he phone.
1. With the bat t ery in posit ion on t he phone,
connect t he lead from t he t r avel adapt er t o
the connect or at t he bottom of t he phone.
2. Connect t he charger t o a st andard AC wall
out let .
3. When charging is finished ( t he LED t ur ns in
gr een) , disconnect the adapt er from t he pow er
out let and from t he phone.
