Phonebook
You can store phone num bers and t heir
corresponding nam es in the m em ories of your
SI M card and t he phone. You can store up to 500
and 200 entries respectively t he SI M card and
phone m em ories, alt hough physically separate,
are used as if t hey were a single ent it y, called t he
Phonebook.

1. Key in the num ber t o be st ored.

2. When you are sur e t hat it is correct , press t he
Save soft key .
3. Ent er the corresponding nam e up t o 20
char acters.
For inform at ion on how t o ent er a nam e, see eZi
text input .
I f necessary, press the < Navigation Down> key t o
highlight t he Num ber field and edit t he num ber .
4. When you are satisfied, press t he SELECT soft
key.
5. Press the < Navigation Left > or < Navigation
Right > key t o select t he desired m em ory locat ion
from Phon e and SI M Ca rd.
6. Press the SAVE soft key t o store t he nam e and
num ber.
Speed- Dia ling from
Phonebook
Once you have assigned speed- dial allocat ion to
the Phonebook ent ries (refer to ‘ Speed Dials’ in
Phonebook opt ions) , you can dial t he num ber
with one key press. Speed- dialing will save you
ent ering all digit s of t he num ber .
To speed- dial a num ber, press and hold dow n t he
appr opriat e key 2 t o 9 in St andby m ode.

Using Phonebook Options
I n St andby m ode, Nam es appears abov e t he
right soft key t o allow you t o access t he
Phonebook. The Phonebook provides you wit h
the var ious opt ions.
Accessing t he Opt ions
To access t he v arious Phonebook options,
pr oceed as follows.
1. I n Standby m ode, press t he N a m e s soft key.
The first available opt ion is highlighted.
2. To... Then pr e ss t he...
Select t he SELECT soft key.

Exit the Phonebook Back soft key or t he
< End : Power > key.
