Call W a it ing
This net work service enables you t o be inform ed
when som eone is trying t o reach y ou dur ing
anot her call.
You can specify the call w ait ing option for voice
calls only .
To set your call w ait ing opt ions, proceed as
follows.
The screen infor m s you whether call waiting is
act ivat ed or deactivated.
- You can act ivat e or deactivate the call wait ing
feat ure as necessary using t he Act ivate or
Dea ct ivat e soft key respect ively.

You can send your phone num ber to t he
designat ed phone when m aking a call so that t he
recipient can see your phone num ber.
N ot e : Som e netw orks do not allow t he user t o change
this set ting.
The following opt ions are available.
Off: your num ber is not displayed on
the ot her part y’ s phone.
On: your num ber is sent each t im e y ou
m ake a call and displays on t he other party’ s
phone.
N e t w ork Se lect ion
The Net work Select ion feat ur e enables you t o
indicat e whether t he net w ork used when roam ing
( out side your hom e area) is select ed
aut om atically or m anually.
N ot e : You can select a netw ork ot her t han your hom e
net wor k only if it has a valid roam ing agreem ent
wit h your hom e net wor k.
To indicat e w het her t he net work is to be select ed
aut om atically or m anually when roam ing,
pr oceed as follows.
1. Press the < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key unt il t he appropriate opt ion is
highlighted and t hen press t he SELECT soft key.
I f you select Autom atic, you are connect ed
to t he fir st available networ k in the preferred
list when roam ing.
I f you select M a n ual, t he phone scans for
the available net works. Go to St ep 2.
2. Press the < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key until t he preferred net w ork is
highlighted and t hen press t he SELECT soft key.
You are connected to t hat net work.
